Two bedrooms are located on the second floor of the house. The master bedroom has a king bed and an en suite master bathroom, and a private walk out balcony so you can enjoy the sunset overlooking the lake. The en suite master bathroom has a oversize shower and a Jacuzzi tub. Second bedroom includes a queen bed. Third bedroom has a bunk bed with a full and a twin size bed.
All of the bedrooms and the living room have ceiling fans.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances, including a wine cooler. There is a dining room table which can seat 6 people. This house has a living room with a wood-burning fireplace. In the living room there is a 42' flat screen TV with a DVD player or you can simply sit on the couch and enjoy the view of the lake. Once you walk outside you will be on the large deck that has a propane burning grill. After you have finished grilling you can go to the fire-pit that is in the back yard and enjoy a delicious s'more.
There is no direct access to the beach, but the house is located in a short driving distance to a public free beach at Rocky Gap or Hagar Park.

We absolutely love it!!! We have made so many awesome family memories at the Magnolia House! The kitchen is fully stocked and amazing. The view from the master bedroom is beyond beautiful! Andy is so great to work with! I truly cannot say enough good things about this rental!

We spent our day at a nearby beach called Silver Beach and then the late afternoons in the backyard building a fire. My children loved playing in the house and everything was so clean. Can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Families with Young Children.

We loved it! The view is perfect. We would have loved to be there in the warmer weather to take advantage of the outdoor areas. No complaints - owner was responsive to my questions. House is wonderfully stocked. Beds are amazingly comfortable. We actually had to randomly draw 'straws' to determine who got the master bedroom!

I agree with others that it is probably not the most kid friendly, but that wasn't an issue for us. It is a short drive from downtown St. Joseph on a quiet street. Overall, we had a great time and couldn't be happier with our decision to stay here. I will definitely try to stay here again in the future if the opportunity arises.

The home was well appointed and clean and the views of Lake Michigan were spectacular. We lucked out on the weather as well. And even though there was no lake access, we were only an 8 minute ride to downtown and the beaches and good restaurants. Even our two teenagers loved just hanging at the house and playing games at night. We will definitely be back and hope to make this an annual trip as it is so close to Chicago. Thanks, again.
