We are empty nesters enjoying the varieties of life. We love our vacation rental opportunities with our beach properties and Portland apartment. Why This Property?

We love the yard. Towering Doug Firs are the sentinels of our property and we are proud to be stewards of this land. The house itself seems to ramble on and was perfect for raising children & entertaining and now for housing us in our retirement.

Unique Benefits

Rob and I are living in the first house we bought as a young couple - and we celebrate 45+ years together. With the children gone, we refurbished the back part of our home to recreate the apartment that was once there. From the start our experience was fabulous. When i arrived there were fresh flowers and and welcoming note from Deb. The inside was so much more than I could have imagined. Everything was perfect and very homely feeling. There was even a basket of snacks and a variety of teas to choose from. The hottub was a nice comfort after a day of hiking and exploring the beautiful scenery in the area. The outside garden oasis was gorgeous and a nice place to sit with hot tea in the morning. It was nice watching the roses bloom on the trees and just enjoy the peace and solitude that was provided in my stay. The experience was awesome and i hope to return in the future!

Everything about the stay was enjoyable. Easy check-in/checkout. We had privacy even though we were surrounded by houses, It fealt great. Will stay again.

Hidden Gem in Portland

We wanted to surprise our son for Christmas and knew he didn't have enough space for us so that is when I came upon this wonderful studio only 4.3 miles away! It was perfect for the two of us, and Debi was gracious enough to allow my kids to come over and use the hot tub! Very comfortable king-size bed, gigantic fluffy towels for the bathroom and hot tub, coffee beans, a french press, snacks, and fresh flowers rounded out our greeting when we arrived late on the evening of December 22. Had every amenity we were looking for, including the elusive fan (which I run to drown out "night noises") and a blow dryer, which I forgot to ask about ahead of time! Although located at a somewhat busy intersection, we didn't find the traffic noise obtrusive, and we were so close to everything for a quick commute to everywhere we needed to go in the greater Portland area with quick access to I-5. Thanks, Debi and Rob, for allowing us to rent your little oasis. I hope to be back sometime (although my son now tells me he's moving to the NE part of town in March)! You guys obviously take a lot of pride in your studio and it definitely shows in the little things...keep on doing what you're doing!

Amazing Little Gem

This property was PERFECT! SO clean, well equipped (had everything we needed), perfect size for a couple. The hot-tub was the perfect finish to a long day in the City & after hiking. The attention to detail by the owners was wonderful. They take pride in their property and it shows. Beautiful flowers at the door to greet us. Fresh coffee beans, grinder & coffee drip & much much more!!! We will definitely be back & we would most definitely recommend this place to all our Family & Friends! Thank you :)
