We highly recommend this villa with excellent amenities and great pool. Gerty is an wonderful hostess with great info and recommendations for the Venice area and she responded quickly to any question we had.
Gerty's Pool Villa I was a delightful pleasure to rent 4/1-4/22. It is beautifully designed and furnished with every comfort of home. I especially enjoyed the crisp, uncluttered interior design of the home and pool deck furnishings. If I could duplicate this home for myself, I absolutely would - that is my short-term goal, actually - a pool home in Sarasota County. The Venice area offers everything - 5 beautiful pristine local beaches, free concerts & yoga at Venice Beach, Shamrock Park is a gem, great shopping and dining on Venice Ave., plus fun places for local atmosphere, i.e. Darrell's - great BBQ. Several text questions that I sent to Gerty were answered swiftly and completely. My son and guests were "wowwed" by the home (i like exceptionally NICE places for vacationing!). I do not hestitate to DEFINITELY recommend this property, or Gerty's Pool Villa II for a fabulous vacation experience! Gerty's demeanor and business savvy is what every vacation- rental owner should aspire to.
We rented Gerty's Pool Villa for the month of February 2017. This was our 4th year renting the Villa and it did not disappoint. It's spacious ,well- configured and tastefully decorated. The house is kept clean and the kitchen well- stocked with all the necessary utensils and spices etc. We love the beaches and town of Venice nearby, and great sunsets by the jetty. (lots of dolphin sightings by the jetty this year). Gerty is great and very helpful. We fully enjoyed our stay.
The villa did not disappoint. It is beautiful: modern, clean and very well equipped. The owner, Gerty, is great....she is keen to help make your stay enjoyable. We hope to return!
Just got back from an amazing vacation in Venice, Florida. My husband and I brought our three little boys and we truly had the best time. This villa is so well stocked, all you need to bring is your clothes. There are lots of beach toys, pool toys, coolers, bikes, etc. There is even a shark tooth finder! (So cool!) also, tons of toys, puzzles and games for the kids inside. The pool is amazing! So is the spa. Everything is tastefully decorated and super clean! Gerty is so friendly and helpful. I couldn't say enough good things about this place. If you are thinking about booking this place, just do it. We loved it!
