We have private beach access which is only a short walk from the Islander lobby (see map of the path to the beach in the Photos section). Complimentary beach service of 2 chairs and an umbrella is available March-October. You can also rent paddle boards and kayaks on the beach.
Our unit is located on the 3rd floor, and was fully renovated in 2015. It has cool, clean tile flooring throughout, granite countertops and appliances, new bedding and new furnishings in the dining room and master bedroom. It is a two bedroom-two bath condo that sleeps 6. The sofa in the living room folds out to a queen size sofa sleeper. There are 3 televisions...a 55” flat screen (with Blu-Ray player) in the living room and one in each bedroom. There is a workout room complete with a treadmill, elliptical machine, and two upper body resistance machines next to the front desk in the lobby. We also have two swimming pools (one of which is heated), several outdoor grills, shuffleboard, tennis courts, and a basketball court.
Our unit is part of The Islander rental program which means you receive all of the services the resort provides, including 24 hour front desk service during the summer months. Activities for kids are available during peak summer season, including painting on the beach, exotic animal shows, pirate's day, and more!

About Larry Denning
We love the beach, and our three daughters and three grandchildren do, too! The Islander Resort offered us easy access (no streets to cross) to the beach, an abundance of amenities, and quick access to all that Destin has to offer. We all live near Franklin, Tennessee, so Destin is only a few hours away and very convenient for us.

We chose our home after looking at many, many properties in Destin. We loved the view of the gulf from the balcony! So many homes we looked at did not afford the view we found at Islander 317. When we bought this home, we knew we would have to remodel it, and so we did. 90 days after we bought it, we had completed the remodeling of our new home, including new tile floors, fresh paint, new fixtures

Unique Benefits
Water views and easy beach access drew us to this home. We didn't want to cross busy highways to get to the beach, and we wanted a gorgeous view of sunrises and sunsets to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

Beautiful room, beautiful view, beautiful beach!! Friendly staff, Kids loved the pool, reasonable price, and just a short walk to the beach. Would go back!

Hi – We had a wonderful stay in your condo the last week of February, 2016. The condo was decorated beautifully, was immaculate and very functional for our week in Destin. We enjoyed daily long walks on the beach – especially down to The Back Porch. And we enjoyed visiting the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola. The weather was beautiful, the sand was so white, and it was very peaceful just to enjoy the ocean and the area. We came back to Illinois very refreshed. We hope to stay again in your condo when we return to Destin. Thanks for a lovely week.

The condo was absolutely perfect. It has been recently remodeled with brand new features and was tastefully decorated and very clean. Had top notch appliances in the kitchen. From the balcony there are good views of the pool, gulf and harbor. The grounds and building were also well maintained. The balcony is a nice size and had a table and four chairs plus a chaise lounge. The location was great and it was just a short walk to the beach. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Would highly recommend.
