  • Bookings cancelled at minimum 60 days before the start of the stay will receive 100% refund.
Because Rock Haus is my one & only (as opposed to being a part of a resort/hotel type of property i.e. one-of-many) my risk is wide open. What I mean ... is that if Rock Haus has a cancellation and I am not able to re-book ... then I am 100% out of my income > Rock Haus is my job > how I support myself. About Suzanne
Born in Dallas, raised in Shreveport, La., moved to Eureka Springs in 1992 when my children were 3 and 1. I had shops in Eureka for 17 years, worked at The Chamber of Commerce for 5 years and am beginning my 10th year of my Rock Haus vacation rental. Why This Property?
The quest for buying a house lasted about 3 years. We looked high and low ... until one day our CPA decided to sell Rock Haus (they called it Merry Meadows) (and a local historian called it Goat Campbell Hollow!) An excellent choice!

Owner submitted, actual review > " I've had mostly good experiences with vacation rentals, and one horrible experience. This is by far the best property we have rented. The pictures do not do it justice. It is beautifully decorated. It is spotlessly clean. Close to Historic Downtown but not TOO close. Quiet and secluded with fun easy walks in every direction. If we are ever able to get back up there we will not settle for anything less. Suzanne gave us the best recommendations for restaurants and we tried each but one. The Local Flavor Café was by far my favorite and my husband liked the Gaskins steakhouse the best. The coziness and attention to detail in this property made us dream of striking it rich and offering any price to make it our own. Thanks for everything, it was a trip to remember! "

How Good Can it Get

Owner submitted, actual review > " My sister and I treated our parents to 4 days at this lovely home far enough off the beaten path to give us the peace and quiet we were looking for. It was close enough to town that we could break the day up with small visits in town and a return to this beautiful home. We weren't looking for anything but a chance to eat, drink and spend time telling stories and connecting with our family. Thanks to the owners for providing such a perfect location for this to happen. We wanted for nothing while we were here and hated to leave. We will definitely be back! "

Gorgeous Comfy Home

Owner submitted, actual review > " This home is cared for with love and attention to detail even down to the flower plantings at the entry door. We enjoyed everything about it, the keyless entry, A/C controls upper and lower level kept it very comfortable, convenient to a good variety of restaurants, grocery, bakeries, and entertainment. Kitchen was well stocked with all the small appliances, cookware, dishes we needed, bedrooms have wonderful soft mattress's. The dining area looks out onto a private wooded park like yard, where you might spot some wildlife early morning or evening as we did. If you can break away from the charming inside of this home you can enjoy outdoor entertainment on the spacious deck area, or lovely stone patio. Being a seasoned traveler, I'd have to say this is the best kept vacation home we have stayed in. Thank you Suzanne for your hospitality! "
