- Bookings cancelled at minimum 60 days before the start of the stay will receive 100% refund.
In the event of a hurricane, the renter will be pro-rated a refund based on the number of days for which a mandatory evacuation is in effect. Should an emergency happen whereby the renter has to cancel, we will refund in full provided we are able to get a replacement rental for the same period at equal value. Though new to the is site, they have been members of other listing sites since 2004. Due to the high attention to detail we provide and our guest centric customer service, we have consistently rented out our property 46 - 48 weeks per year and sometimes can be booked up to two years in advance.
Most of our guests are repeat renters who bring their multi-generational families whether it is for a special occasion, a week of fishing or just some fun in sun and to relax.
The house itself is a charming historic beach house built on over one acre with a private 165ft beach and heated swimming pool. It was built in 1922 so there is some serious Keys history attached to this one, from the original owners who a local beach is named after, to hosting a US President stay, to the multitude of photo shoots for famous designers & magazines.
It has four bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and a Den which is a great hangout and sleeping area for kids. The majority of living space is on the first floor and both floors have a Master Suite. The Master upstairs has it's own Nursery Nook for little travelers.
Though it has plenty of vintage charm, Michele has continued to update the house to provide all modern amenities to valued guests.
It is one of the few ground level properties remaining in Islamorada. Time and time again our guests have said that their stay at The Last Resort has been one of the best memory making holidays they have had, especially those with kids and grand kids.
