My husband and I stayed here for a week of golfing. Barefoot resort is a great, central location with 4 beautiful courses. We have stayed in a number of different units on the property but this one is by far the best. The house is spacious and is very tastefully furnished. But it is the comfort of the amenities that struck me the most. As soon as you walk in it feels like home. Little touches like great linens, a Keurig, luggage stands, fully stocked kitchen, a 58 inch TV and a wonderful lanai with sturdy furniture really sets it apart. And Linda (owner) is wonderful to work with. We can't wait to make a return visit.
Our vacation here was literally perfect! First of all, staying at this townhouse was just like staying at home. The beds are so comfortable, we all slept like babies every night. You know how some beds and sheets just "don't feel right." Not here. It truly felt like our home away from home. The place is so clean and well maintained, not to mention beautiful. I am a single mom, and I took my 3 teenage children. I was a little concerned about navigating the area, and finding things for us all to do for the week. Let me tell you, NO PROBLEM! We never did even use the shuttle. There is a pool literally outside the front door. We easily drove to the North Tower pool with the covered hot tub. It was beautiful. Short and easy drive to the gorgeous beach, with no parking problems. Used the beach umbrella and chairs provided, perfect! Went to Broadway at the Beach twice and loved the fireworks, the Boardwalk with the Skywheel, mini golf, explored Barefoot Landing, ate at some great restaurants...There is still so much to do and see here it will have to wait until next year. Tim and Linda are so kind and helpful, and make it easy to just walk in, unpack, and get your vacation started! I hope my week will be available next year! Thank you for the best vacation we ever had. You won't be sorry staying here at Tanglewood :)
This townhouse has wood floors and leather furniture on the main floor - these items went a long way in making us comfortable here. The bed linen were sooo soft and clean, and the towels were thick, clean and of good quality. The Tvs and other equipment including the kitchen appliances, all worked very well. The DVD died while we were there, but was quickly replaced by Linda. The steady flow of golfers just outside the lanai, helped us from feeling isolated, and the quiet decor, and efficient and effective furnishings allowed for excellent functionality of this townhouse.
