Why This Property?

We love the huge kitchen. With all the windows and skylights, the home is flooded with light. The location is perfect, at 0,7 mile from center of town, we can walk to everything but are far enough to have privacy and a yard. Neighbors to right and left are not too close. No neighbor in back, only a rock wall and the house is backed away from street.

We love this home and wanted a Maine coastal home for a long time, so you don't get just a ordinary rental home, you get a family oriented vacation retreat.

The 1907 home has a beautiful and very large post and beam kitchen that has all you need for entertaining, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, a large island with barn lights, country pantry, and booth seating (up to 10) that the kids will love. Also a small workstation with wireless internet and unlimited U.S. and Canada phone calls. Adjacent the kitchen, there is a very spacious south facing deck, if you wish to eat your lobster outside or cook burgers on the gas bbq. Next to the sun flooded kitchen is the dinning room with a Thomasville antique table and seating for 10 which opens up to living room and upstairs staircase. Living room l shaped sectionnal couch and large flat screen tv with more than 200 channels, dvd and views on rock wall and forest. First floor has full bathroom with sit-in shower and washer/dryer. All first floor is decorated in coastal blues, soothing whites and vibrant greens. You will definetly feel like you are at the beach! Second floor has 4 bedrooms, a full bathroom off hallway and a master bathroom. Huge master suite has 75' king sleighbed, armoire and work desk, all in relaxing yellow tones. A nice sized king bedroom with cathedral ceiling, beautiful widows, decorated in nautical navy blues and sand colors. For the kids, there are 2 other very cozy bedrooms one with twin trundle beds and cable tv and a Wii station with games. The other bedroom has a double/twin bunk bed. There is also a nice queen auto-inflatable bed. This is a family vacation home so you will find everything you need to enjoy your seaside vacation: boogie boards, football, basketball, soccer ball, beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, pails and shovels....You and your family are sure to have a wonderful vacation in this 'Beautiful place by the sea'. And to top it off, you will have your own private, fenced in, inground 18x36' pool right off the deck. Not many home in Ogunquit have a pool....this is definitely a rare amenitie.
