Mare Azzurro is an architectural treasure finished to an extraordinarily high world class standard of luxury. The villa is designed for privacy and separation, as well as great entertaining spaces. Mesmerizing sunsets, panoramic views and the sounds and smells of the soothing surf await you at Mare Azzuro.
Mare Azzurro is a euphoric one of a kind property that will heighten your senses like no other. A stunning round Mediterranean tower replete with a grand cantilevered marble staircase, turned mahogany rail and antique chandelier from a Spanish Monastery, connects all spaces in the villa. The villa has a Great Room that opens completely up to expansive wrap around covered porches opening to an elevated swimming pool and a large custom kitchen, perfect for entertaining. The open kitchen is every chef’s delight, including 2 dishwashers, a 6 burner commercial stove, a large panelled refrigerator/freezer, floor to ceiling maple raised panelled custom cabinetry and a hidden flat screen television that can be viewed from the granite breakfast bar that seats ten. The entire floor has an integrated sound system. Walk right out from the great room to the state of the art glass elevated mosaic tiled heated infinity pool that joins with the sea. The pool has two waterfalls, one European therapeutic massage, and one rain, with amazing views, surrounded by columns and arches. On the deck enjoy the fully equipped outdoor kitchen with infra-red stainless steel BBQ, gas burners, sink and refrigerator.
The villa has 2 master suites with king sized wooden carved four poster beds and exquisite furniture, their own sitting rooms, large walk in closets and marble bathrooms, with walk in showers. All bedrooms have glorious sea views, with pocketing doors and roll down shutters that open to a large veranda. One suite has its own Hot Springs Spa with amazing views overlooking the long sandy beach and across the ocean beyond, while the other has 2 bathrooms and a Murphy bed that converts the sitting room into another bedroom perfect for small children or guests. The artist’s studio has its own private balcony and uninterrupted view of the beach, ocean and myriad of islands beyond. The studio has its own bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and private entrance. At the top of the tower one arrives at the media room with a wet bar and home theatre in the round. Perched high above the activity below, this circular space provides another welcome retreat to relax, enjoy and be entertained in total comfort and seclusion.
Mare Azzurro also has a large 2 bedroom guest suite that has its own private access from the outside, as well as connecting to the main house. It contains 2 King ensuite bedrooms, four poster beds, large showers and the finest appointments. The open living area is set between the two bedroom suites, offering complete privacy for guests. It is luxuriously furnished with an open living, dining and kitchen area. Guests enjoy, in total privacy, the second heated mosaic tiled pool with therapeutic jets and a massage waterfall overlooking the beach. There is also a lawn in front of the villa that leads to a private beach access. All rooms open onto the veranda with comfortable furnishings to relax and be overwhelmed with this exceptional location and views.

If you need to cancel your trip to Sunset House and advise us by email 45 days or more prior to your booking, we will refund 80% of your deposit and retain 20% towards administration costs. If we are within 45 days of your trip to Sunset House we will keep 100% of your total payment made for this rental. If we are able to find another booking to cover the dates held for you, we would be happy to refund 80% of your payment made for rental, 20% will be lost and non refundable.
The total number of guests staying at Sunset House at any one time is restricted to the number of guests scheduled and paid for. This is based on two guests per bedroom. Should a group misrepresent themselves, they will be required to pay for all excess guests immediately, or shall vacate the villa without refund.
If there is a storm or hurricane, please be guided by the on Island Management, they will inform you of the procedure on island. No refunds will be given unless:- The day the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order “Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning”, area. We will refund:- Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently staying at the property following the official warning. If arriving or shortening your stay to come in after the official warning is lifted, we will refund those days not used due to the official warning.
