A charming , fully restored, one bedroom rustic cottage that is located on the shore of Lake Superior and is three miles from Mclain's State Park, six miles from the Village of Calumet and the Keweenaw National Historic Park and only twelve miles from the historic cities of Hancock and Houghton. In less than an hour you can reach Michigan's northern most town of Copper Harbor or in less than ten minutes be in the historic village of Calumet. A half hour drive south brings you to Hancock and Houghton where you can enjoy a variety of eateries, restaurants, shopping or visit the two universities and their facilities. The area is home to the first mineral rush in the United States and is rich in history related to the copper mining industry that shaped its development. Explore the Copper Country or spend your time enjoying the perfect beach front location to walk the sandy beach, enjoy a refreshing swim or an evening campfire, search for agates, or take in the amazing sunsets on the western shores of the Keweenaw Peninsula.
