What an amazing cabin! Had everything we needed plus some. The hot tub looking out on the water is heavenly. We have 3 long haired chihuahuas and they were very relaxed and enjoyed their time at the cabin as well. Fenced in on both sides! We will be coming back I'm sure of it. Great area, plus short drive to petoskey and to the U.P, really had a wonderful weekend. Thank you Dorene for the quick feedback and letting us stay at this beautiful place.
This is the perfect place to get away and relax. The back of the cabin opens up to the river, which was just beautiful in the winter. The cabin is so cozy inside and has everything you would need. It is secluded and private, but only a 30 minute drive to the skiing, breweries, and restaurants in Petosky. We definitely want to return in the summer to enjoy the river more
We loved staying at this home!! It was very clean and looked even better than the pictures can show. Descriptions were accurate and the owner was very quick in responding if we had any questions. We had everything there that we needed and then some. The entire yard being fenced all the way around was a huge plus for us, with our dog. It was a quick and easy drive to Mackinaw City for our day trip over to the island. It was a nice, private location with a wonderful view across the river, and yet very close to jump on the highway. Hot tub and paddle boat were also great. I would highly recommend this property to others and look forward to renting from the owners again.
We loved this place so much we booked an extra night's stay, and we want to come back every year! The pictures don't even do justice to the beautiful home and gorgeous view! We got the most incredible photographs at sunset. We took out the paddle boat, roasted marshmallows over the fire, and soaked in the hot tub. Our dogs were in heaven with the huge fenced yard and the calm water to swim in. We had all the conveniences and comfort of home and more. Dorene was extremely responsive and accommodating.
This was my second time at the River's Edge and I absolutely enjoyed it! The location is a perfect mix of seclusion and proximity to everything the Indian River area has to offer. The decor is very tasteful and welcoming, it was very clean and comfortable and had all of those little things like board games that really add up. I'll be back for sure!
