Great mountain get away with all the comforts of home, beautiful views and plenty to do in the great outdoors! This beautiful log cabin, previously the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock community for many years. Nestled in the Sauratown Mountain range, it is located on a parcel of private land that is surrounded by Hanging Rock State Park and only 1/4 mile from the main park gate. This allows our guests to enjoy all the amenities of the park and surrounding community without being locked behind the park gates at night. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area and the gorgeous Lower Cascade Falls, with access to the Dan River and Moore’s Spring bike trails just down the road. Just minutes from the cabin are kayaking, canoeing and river tubing outfitters, an award winning zip-line and ropes course, and many other historic local attractions. Indian Creek Cabin is only 35 minutes from Winston-Salem, 50 minutes from Greensboro, and 2 hours from the Raleigh/Durham and Charlotte areas.
The cabin has been completely renovated into a comfortable and modern two bedroom, one bath home, complete with fully-equipped kitchen and wood-burning fireplace. The cabin features hardwood floors, covered front porch with rockers and swing and large rear deck with a covered dining area. WIFI with internet access, BluRay player and a smart TV provide connectivity for those folks who need to stay in touch while enjoying all the outdoor recreation available in the area. The cabin has central air and heat as well as a beautiful stone fireplace available for use in the cooler seasons. Indian Creek comes furnished with top quality linens, well-equipped kitchen andpropane outdoor grill. The bedrooms feature one queen and one extra long full mattress. The queen size sleeper sofa in den area creates accommodations for up to 6 adults. Responsible pet owners are welcome to bring the four-legged family members along. (Pet deposit and restrictions may apply.) Indian Creek Cabin is a non-smoking facility.

Why This Property?
The driveway to my home runs beside the cabin so I live about 100 yards behind it. There is a row of cedars that provide great privacy between myself and cabin guests. I love meeting the guests and providing helpful information and recommendations about the area (i.e. things to do, places to eat) if requested.
