Thanks Bob- Terri and I enjoyed our stay, cabin listing was exactly as listed, all the cooking, kitchen equipment, pillows, blankets, wood for stove, everything was there that we needed. Like we discussed our main purpose of staying was to go skidoo- ing, however with condition beyond our control that did not happen. Instead we found plenty to do, we went skiing at Crystal, went golfing at Traverse City Golf Center, went shopping at Grand Traverse Mall (thank the lord they have 2 bars) went to the IMAX movie theater, up to LSC casino. Everything is within a short driving distance. Also real handy is the Mini Mart about 1 mile away from the cabin. Looking forward to trying this again in the future. Again- Thank You, will also refer friends to you, not to many though, (do not want your cabin to be booked- HA HA) Thanks and enjoy -you and your family. Terri/Randy hey also thanks for the help with the tv!!
Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin. it is a beautiful place and we are grateful that we could stay here. We really enjoyed driving around looking at all the wonderful scenery. It is a great and peaceful location. We will be recommending this place and plan on coming back in the future. Thanks again,
We had a great stay. The owner clearly pays attention to detail and upkeeps the property superbly. Felt like a 5-star hotel. Very clean, tons of amenities. Thank you! P.S. Try Rosies cafe for breakfast! Thanks so much Bob! It was a great place to stay.
We have stayed at this cabin multiple times now to enjoy it's close proximity and convenience to Crystal Mountain. The cabin is warm, cozy and fits our family well for a weekend ski getaway. It is always clean and well-maintained. The attentive owner stays in contact before the stay to ensure everything proceeds smoothly, and after to ensure our satisfaction. This is one of our favorite winter vacation spots, however, I'm sure it would be equally enjoyable in any season
Stayed at the Chalet on Pine Meadows Drive in Thompsonville for the second time last August. What brought me back was the cabin's location, creature comforts and reasonable cost. Pine Meadows is a quiet street lined with pine trees and flocks of wild turkeys. But with neighbors around, my wife had no problems taking walks down the street while I was fishing. The cabin itself is clean with an open concept kitchen/greatroom that we liked. There is one bedroom and a loft upstairs that could be used for kids or a third adult. There is a deck in the back and a fire pit that we enjoyed in the evenings. The location is close to Crystal Mountain and the Betsie River (we like to kayak). Also, within a half hour's drive of a dozen golf courses, Sleeping Bear Dunes and the town of Frankfort. We actually rode our bikes from Thompsonville to Frankfort on the bike trail, spend the day, then caught Beulah Bus back. There are other cabins in the area, but most are for larger families and cost hundreds more. This place is perfect for one or two couples.
