ABOUT US: We've enjoyed renting our house, for the summer on & off for 20 years, since we built the house. I'm originally from England, and my husband grew up in Massachusetts, spending every summer on Martha's Vineyard at his family's summer home. So when it came time to invest in a weekend property, being New Yorkers, Montauk was a natural space to head to. We fell in love with this small parcel of vacant land near the beach and after buying it, we expected to build right away. But the building permit took 4 years as our plans were constantly readjusted to accommodate FEMA, DEC and the town zoning requirements. We hired an architect to fulfill our own design & finally finished the construction in 2005.
When we don't rent, we just enjoy our home ourselves. We spend every Christmas here, and savor all the time out here with our only child.

5 of 5 Stars Great house and great location. Owners were amazing to work with. Have been going to Montauk for 30 years and this is a hidden gem in Ditch!!! The house was very clean and accommodated my family of 5 easily. The house had everything that we needed.

Perfect Montauk Vacation

This was the perfect vacation for my family. We felt as if we were at home, not just a rental. We felt welcome by the owner right from the start, and they were always available and willing to help in any way they could. The home was beautiful, kitchen and bathrooms all updated and immaculate. Beds and linens were all just as beautiful and comfortable. The location was perfect, quiet and just a few minute walk to a great beach. Would highly recommend it.

I can not say enough about this house...from the owners being so accomadating to the tasteful and comfy decor of the house, made our week in Montauk unforgettable. Perfect house for a family...blocks away from the beach...where you'll stay and wish to never have to leave !

we couldn't be happier with our rental. alex was great and even asked if her son could leave books and toys for our sons. the house was well stocked and comfortable. we will absolutely rent again if available next year. we were sad to leave. thanks alex and chris for a memorable montauk holiday.
