Why the Owner Chose Snowshoe: We picked this resort and this particular property for a number of reasons. We live close to D.C., so Snowshoe Resort is conveniently located--we can be there in less than 4hours. We were there in the winter of 2007, invited by a co-worker, for a long weekend.
