It's cheaper to rent than to own
Date of Stay: December 3rd , 2018

Our December 2018 trip to the Tennessee Smoky Mountains was more for business than pleasure as I wanted to explore the possibility of building a small vacation home on some land that I had purchased in Townsend over a dozen years ago. Since my wife was going to accompany me this time I decided to rent a log cabin instead of making my usual motel reservation and booked The Eagles View in nearby Wears Valley. Upon our after dark arival I had the opportunity to enter a few minutes before my wife (who was attending to stuff at the car) and was able to light the cabin's seasonal Christmas tree and fireplace and get the TV turned to the Holiday Music channel, so when she got inside it was to a perfectly cozy log cabin setting. This time of year the night time Christmas lights along the Pigeon Forge's Parkway are spectacular and we even managed a walk through downtown G-burg one mild winter evening The thing that impressed me most about Eagles View was the cleanliness of the cabin as compared to several others that we had rented previously. There was absolutely no dust anywhere, the kitchen was well stocked with supplies, as was the bathroom. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the living room couch a delight to sit in. The newly paved asphalt road and parking area were also a nice touch. The home is whimsically decorated in a Black Bear motif and was very comfortable for our brief stay. Our 2 days were highly productive as I got to see 3 builders and am currently awaiting their quotes. However, at this point, I feel that we will probably simply continue to rent for our future visits to the Smokies. In that regard we would like to put Eagles View on the top of our list for future sojourns into the mountains.

Hard to leave
Date of Stay: July 1st , 2018

This is our 5th time for a family vacation in the Smokies and this is the first time we are considering returning to the same cabin. The steepness of the road may appear daunting but our cars or vans did not have any problems. The view is fabulous, the complete accommodations combined with the location is the reason we will most likely stay there again. Everyone had such a great time that no one wanted to leave; can it get better than that? I don't think so.

Loved this experience!!!
Date of Stay: March 3rd , 2018

You will not find views like this anywhere else! I promise!!!!!Every morning & every evening took my breath away. It was nice to take a break from my busy and complicated life & just enjoy God’s beautiful works for a change. The cabin is beautiful. It’s very clean and feels like home. The wood work inside is incredible. Everything was easy to find and it’s handicap accessible. It was easy to find and the parking was accommodating for my Small Ford Fusion. There’s a pool table, a hot tub, and a fire place. Perfect for a weekend away with the family or a honeymoon. I promise you will love the Eagle’s View Cabin. Connie was super sweet and made sure that we knew everything before getting to the cabin. She talks to you like you are an old friend. And if you need her she is just a phone call away. She really strives to make sure her guests are happy with their stay. You will not be disappointed! I will defiantly be back! So, what are you waiting for? Book this now!!!

Breathtaking Mt Views!
Date of Stay: October 1st , 2017

My husband and I discovered Connie & Paul's cabins (Eagles View & Above the Clouds) about eight yrs ago and we keep coming back! Both cabins are well-kept, pet friendly and handicap assessable, AND the mountain views are magnificent! Mornings are our favorite times-sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch sipping our coffee with the most breathtaking views right in front of us. Then there's the awesome sunsets-we stand on the porch with camera in hand! You don't want to miss the sun setting over the mountain range! Most important is that our dealings with Connie have been like conducting business with a good friend! We recently celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary at Eagles View. Connie and Paul had a card and gift waiting for us when we arrived!
