You will not regret booking this budget-friendly, secluded cabin in Sevierville. It's 20 minutes from any major tourist-destination in the Smoky Mountain Area, and Vince is such a courteous, understanding, and timely host. I will be recommending this location to anyone looking for an escape from daily life.
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin has everything you need.Appreciated the BBQ and well-stocked kitchen. Saved a lot of money not eating out all the time. Internet and phone reception were good. If you are renting a car you might consider a 4 WD. There was even a little cat hanging around. Felt just like home!
We stayed here during our annual Labor Day Mountain trip and it was great. This has been a running tradition for about 5 years and it was one of our favorite house. We had an issue with the air during our stay and Vince made sure it was taken care of right away. It was a great trip and lovely house. We all loved the decor and all of the natural wood.
We had an amazing week here in August with our group of 3 families and 4 adult couples. With such a large group (and all teenage children), the multiple bedding options made a big difference in our comfort level. Vince was a dream to work with and was always responsive. I contacted him when one of our group had issues with the freezer temperature and he immediately offered to send someone out to service it. We decided to wait it out and ultimately, the freezer proved to keep items chilled appropriately. The hot tub and pool table were lovely and used frequently. The driveway was steep (as is common in the Smokies) but manageable for our 3 vehicles. We were in and out daily, several times after dark, with few issues. Another friend had a cabin 15 mins away and the driveway was so steep, she couldn't even park her SUV safely there! VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE: GPS places the house on the other side of the street in nowhere land. PAY ATTENTION to the house numbers when you turn right into the street. Pro tip - it's the first house on the right. It's hard to see the actual number on the mailbox if you are not paying close attention (all our 3 vehicles arrived at different times and missed it the first time around). The location was great - reasonably close to the attractions in Pigeon Forge and also close to the Wears Valley entrance of the Smoky Mountain National Park where you can bring your own tubes to tube for free in a delightful, relatively gentle river. Even better, the place is not busy with plenty of riverfront picnic tables scattered along and a hiking trail that extends a reasonable distance (I hiked about 2 hours and could have kept connecting to other trails).
I never would have dreamed this would have been the perfect vacation my family needed, but it was. The cabin was beautiful, fully stocked kitchen supplies, fresh linens, everything you could think you might need for a small family weekend getaway. We have already made plans to return next year! Well worth every penny!
