Why This Property?
The main reason my husband and I decided on this property was its proximity to almost everything you can imagine. Once you get to the unit, you virtually don't need a car as almost everything is within a short walk. Charlie Young beach across the street is truly awesome. We reserved Julie's condo back in January of 2019 for a 3 week stay from December 14, 2019 to January 4th, 2020 and we absolutely loved it! There were 5 of us, one couple in each of the bedrooms and an adult on the pull out couch in the living room. The condo is in excellent condition, the price was fantastic (especially compared to other Kihei properties) and the location is as good as you can get without being directly on the shoreline of the ocean. The space handled the 5 of us well, and the 2 bathrooms handled all the showers we could throw at them! We cooked all of our breakfasts in the condo and enjoyed the communal BBQ literally a stones throw away from the lanai doors. Being on the ground floor, this unit is the most convenient one in the building as it is also the first unit on the corner which meant our parking spot was 50 feet away and carrying groceries or beach equipment to and from the condo was a lazy mans dream! No stairs to contend with also makes this the perfect location for anyone with mobility challenges. Along with that BBQ (there are a few of them by the way) the pool and hot tub are also a stones throw away. I spent many mornings in the hot tub as the sun climbed over the landscape. The condo and the entire grounds surrounding it (including pool and hot tub) are exceptionally clean. The condo is in pristine condition, the bathrooms are beautiful and all of the appliances worked well. All 3 beds were very comfortable. There are loads of dishes and cookware and a full size fridge along with a mini bar fridge that were very handy at storing all of our tropical Koloa cocktails! The ice maker in the fridge was perfect for drinks and for throwing a bit of ice into the supplied travel cooler. The beach chairs and gear were in great shape and we made use of them daily. The nearby Kamaole Beach III is a 4 minute walk from the condo, literally down the parking lot and across one street has you dipping your toes into the ocean. Great snorkeling is literally right there on each side of the beach with loads of fish and sea turtles to swim with. There are countless restaurants (of all price ranges) and food trucks within easy walking distance minutes away, along with a Foodland grocery store and an organic grocery store, both within walking distance. In the condo there are plenty of fans to help cool you down and an air conditioner in the living room. With the front door (screened in) and the sliding doors at the lanai both open, a beautiful breeze cools down the condo as the trade winds roll through. We slept very comfortably! I have rented several places in Kauai and Maui, and this was by far the best location, condition and value! Julie (the owner) was fantastic to communicate with before and during our stay. She lives on the island which is a huge plus if you run into any concerns, unlike most properties that have contractors managing their properties. It provides a nice personal touch. When we arrived we found a welcome card along with treats to enjoy - it was a great way to kick off our stay. Full laundry facilities inside the unit were very convenient and Julie obtained a second parking spot for us as we had 2 cars for the group. The dishwasher worked great and the dining table allowed us to easily share meals. The layout really maximises the space provided and it isn't cluttered. A big screen tv with full cable and internet for those who need a break from the sun. If I could afford to buy a place in Maui, this would be perfect. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed. The grounds are quiet, there are people that live here year round and there is 24 hour security ensuring your safety and comfort around the clock. The size of the lanai is perfect for a few chairs with nice grass out in front of you. It was a bonus as many lanai's that are not on the ground floor in other buildings often barely have enough room to stand. This one was perfect for that early afternoon drink in the shade while being in ear shot of all the local birds in the trees in and around the property. If you haven't figured it out by now, we literally have nothing negative to say about this property or the service we received from Julie and will certainly look to book it again the next time we find ourselves considering a trip to Maui. PERFECT PLACE!

This was the absolutely perfect place to stay! So close to the pool area, walking distance to restaurants, beaches, gas stations and more and a grocery store only 2 miles away. Julie was fantastic! She made sure everything was ready for us & checked in periodically during our 2 week stay to make sure we didn't need anything. She even stopped by at our invitation to meet us. She's such a wonderful person and we have already recommended her condo to others we know are visiting Maui. If you're thinking of visiting...you should definitely consider this. You will not be disappointed!!

Amazing Vacation

I would not hesitate recommending this location!! It far exceeded our expectations. It was exactly as described. The location is close to many restaurants, stores and beaches. We swam with the turtles right across the street, and snorkelled using the supplied fins and masks and saw many of the same fish we saw when we did the snorkelling excursion all within walking distance. Also the beach towels were great [we didn't need to pack our own]. Loved the free Wifi - able to message home, and research our excursions before booking. The grounds, and pool are very well maintained, and the parking stall was close to the condo. Julie was great, and very helpful. We had a small issue and she was able to talk us through it immediately. She was also very accommodating with our request which was very much appreciated. Overall a fantastic experience!

We had a blast at this unit. Julie was very accommodating and responded quickly. We took our 3 kids and the condo was very comfortable. The location allowed for easy access to many beaches, restaurants and shops. Our kids loved that the pool was right off the Lanai. We will definitely be back
