Peaceful Getaway
Date of Stay: September 21st , 2018

Perfect in every way for our weekend getaway from the time we walked in to the time we left. Our welcome greeting basket, flowers on the table, books galore, beautiful grounds, and steps to the beach; all things on the "love" list in life! The little touches in the cottage - another love! Exploring Bainbridge, visiting gorgeous Bloedel Reserve, simply relaxing, watching the boats and ferries, listening to the peaceful water sound - we needed this! Definitely will make a plan for a return!

Terrific stay, in every way
Date of Stay: July 19th , 2018

We felt lucky to have a location on the island that allowed us to enjoy time on the water's edge with amazing views, peace and quiet. The guesthouse meets and exceeds expectations; a lovely, bright space for all. Nestled in the trees at the head of the beach path, it excels in design efficiency, amenities, comfort and ease of use. The same can be said for the online booking, communication and help from Jerry, follow up from our hosts who above all, made us feel very welcome on their private and beautiful spot on the island. Our family hopes to come back and explore the area more! We appreciated every minute of our stay. Mil gracias!

A truly restorative stay
Date of Stay: June 22nd , 2018

We were looking for a "getaway weekend" close to Seattle; so happy that we chose Bainbridge! We were able to pack a week's worth of memories into a weekend: walking along the beach, buying fresh berries and probiotic kumis at the Saturday Farmer's Market, popping into the Art Museum for a peek at its amazing display of handmade books, walking 3 miles at the Bloedel Reserve (Himalayan lilies in bloom!!!), making wishes at the Labyrinth, sampling whiskey at the organic distillery, and enjoying a leisurely tasting dinner at Hitchcock without needing to rush back to Seattle . . . We stayed here just two nights—but it feels as if we've had a week of rest and relaxation. Listening to bird song and waking up to a gorgeous water view from the comfortable King bed in the annex = the perfect way to start each day.

Wonderful family getaway
Date of Stay: April 12th , 2018

Our family had a wonderful stay at the guest house. The place was very clean and in a great location right by the water. We also loved the heated floors. The short walk to restaurants and shops was perfect for the kids. We hope to return when the weather is warmer so we can get out on the water. Thank you!
