Deposit Requirements
$200 refundable cleaning/damage deposit. Either I or my manager will check the cabin after you leave. If the cabin has been left clean and ready for the next guests, your deposit is refunded in full. All cleaning supplies and cleaning checklist are provided. Cleaning can be arranged for an additional fee.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • Bookings cancelled at minimum 7 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund.
  • Bookings cancelled at minimum 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 100% refund.
No charge for cancellation 2 weeks before reservation. Later cancellations refunded on a case-by-case basis.
House Rules
No smoking. No loud music in consideration of neighbors. Pets OK as long as they aren't allowed on the beds or furniture.

I retired from the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank in 2007. My ex-husband and I bought this cabin in 1985 as a place to spend time with our family and to hike, golf and x-country ski. About 15 years ago I started renting it on weekends so I could continue to afford it. Why This Property?
I grew up in upstate New York and missed the seasons after moving to California. We first looked in Big Bear for a vacation home but found it crowded and a little too far to drive from Pasadena. A friend told us about Pine Mountain Club, a private community in the mountains, only an hour and a half from LA. It's a beautiful little village surrounded by mountains. Unique Benefits
I keep my cabin just the way I want it - it's charming and cozy, rustic but not too overly cute. It's at the end of a cul-de-sac which keeps it very quiet and private. The big back deck looks out on a green belt. A neighbor has built a series of paths to the village on the green belt across the street, with little tables and chairs made from tree stumps - a magical 10 minute walk through the woods ... more +
