This spacious condo is on a single floor in an Elevator Building. Porcelain tiled throughout with the comforts & amenities of more expensive resorts.
* Sleeps 6 - 2 BR/2BA, King, Queen 2 Singles - All Memory Foam Beds.
* Full Kitchen w/Bar, Dining Table, Living Room, Balcony with a View of Palm Trees
* Private Full Size Washer/Dryer in Utility room adjacent to front entrance.
Condo is furnished with your comfort and convenience in mind. The Bathrooms, Kitchen and Bar counter/sink with small refrigerator and Microwave in second bedroom was updated in 2014 & 2015. Bahama Shuttered windows allow for plenty of light and privacy.
King & Queen & Day Beds are all Memory Foam, choice of regular pillow or Memory Foam Pillows. (Crib can be set up in the Master bedroom only, with linens). Bath Towels as well as Beach Towels. Extra towels in the linen closet are available to take out on boat/fishing trips.
Updated Bathrooms and Kitchen with Granite Counters.
2nd BR has Bar counter/sink with small fridge & Microwave.
Master Bath walk in shower; Guest Bath Tub with Shower Doors. Baths Dispenser: Shower Gelee, Shampoo & Conditioner. Daily Shower Spray provided, please use it. Medicine Cabinets w/useful items.
Kitchen: condiments & spices. Use what you want, leave what's not used.
The Tower Pool adjacent to Marina. Tower Owners and Guests only-max 6 per condo permitted, Tower pool requires pool bands.
2 pools are currently open to everyone.
The Tower is close to the beach, Jette, Marina, Tennis Courts, Playground; Enjoy a long swim in the Lagune (about 1/8 m down & back) is saltwater from the ocean. It’s a clean ecosystem.
Well stocked kitchen: Reverse Osmosis Water Filter, Refrigerator uses RO water for Ice, Built in Microwave, Ceramic Top Stove, Dishwasher, Toaster Oven, Coffee Maker with permanent mesh filter, Ninja Blender, Countertop Grill, CrockPot, Food processor, Electric Citrus Juicer, Mini chopper, several sizes of pots and frying pans, storage containers, as well as outdoor plates and cups. . Plenty of dishes, glasses and utensils, and Knives that cut!
2 sets of sheets/bed, towels; hair dryers; Ironing Board & Iron; toiletries, first-aid items. If you've forgotten anything, use what you find. Books, board games, and playing cards, a few CDs and DVDs: including Disney Classics for kids. Beach chairs, child toys, floats, cooler available for use.
Please ask for: slide-in shower bench, walker, crib, playpen, booster seat, stroller, Tennis Racquets, one folding bike to be put out for your use.

I’ve been renting my condo since 2000 and I strongly object to websites charging additional fees and demanding guests pay on their website when I’ve paid to advertise with them. My listing on VRBO will expire May 2018 along with their added fees charging renters up to 15% and owners an additional 3% in addition to paying an listing charge. If you choose to rent on the VRBO site, please advise and these fees will be added to your quote.

It's a challenge to find a short term rental property (with legal rentals of less than 28 days) and make a decision among them on where to stay, especially when you don't know the area. So ask away. Be sure to view comments from previous renters - see what made them happy with their choice to stay at my condo.
I fell in love with the property at Kawama and specifically the open flow floor plan in the Tower which is in an elevator building (there are 2 elevators so unless the power goes out...you won't have to walk up any stairs, unless you choose to do so.
Why This Property?
Kawama Tower offered so much more than the other condos. It's spacious layout is on one floor opens to a wide living/dining space, Open Kitchen and large bedrooms with 2 full baths (vs steep steps in Townhouses and narrow long rooms). Kawama Yacht Club is one of a few properties that has a beach and unique in that it has a wonderful salt water Lagune (no other property I looked at had this - Its my personal favorite place to swim! The property is nicely laid out with a walk way around the lagune, a playground for kids, a large Chickee near the Lagune for sitting out without being in the direct sun.
There are two pools you may use at Kawama (out of 3) But the Tower has a pool exclusively available to owners and guests only.
I wanted a property that was easy to reach from Miami - Key Largo is perfect just about one hour from Miami Airport....you can appreciate this especially on Holidays and in Season when traffic is at it's peak and you have a flight to catch.

Close to the Everglades - don't miss out on taking an airboat ride, watch allegators see all sizes from babies to full grown, see the show close by in Florida City. Catch Theatre of the Sea. Swim with the Dolphins. A wildlife rescue and so much more....
Though Sunset is an daily occurance, it is an event not to be missed. So many beautiful sunsets...But I've yet to see the "Flash"....oh well one day...never get tired of watching for it.
The Keys are for whatever you want from your vacation....It's laid back unlike many other places, no hurry, no worry. Almost like a small island...actually each key is a small island, but if you're already in the US you don't need a passport.
Of course with a condo rental you get your accommodation for so much less than the expensive hotels, where at most you get 2 beds and not much space to move around. Of course if room service is what you want you could be anywhere, you don't have to be in the KEYS!.....

Helpful votes: 2/0 I’d like to take a moment to give some feedback on our stay at Carol’s condo. However, as I look through the numerous 5-star responses, I truly wonder what I can add? When we travel, I spend a lot of time seeking out excellent locations to ensure we have a family experience to be cherished. My family was very pleased with this selection and I can confirm that all the positives comments reported by the other travelers are true and our experience was the same. Nice condo, nice location, nice owner, excellent experience. The condominium is very nice, is very well cared for, has plentiful cookware, glasses, silverware… and even condiments that are rarely or scarcely available in any other condo or multi-room hotel with kitchenettes. (We’ve heard similar claims of being well stocked from other condos and hotels – but even the best experience elsewhere was greatly improved upon here.) It is conveniently located on one of the nicest areas in Key Largo. It was a wonderful experience. When making the reservation, which was for a last minute rental, I felt a little apprehensive when I learned that Carol does not use charge cards for her billing and required full payment and deposit. (I don’t blame her because charge companies take a commission and are not always the friendliest to the individual business owner.) My apprehension was a waste of energy. Be assured that working with Carol will be more than just a good business experience. She over-delivered on my best expectations and my deposit was promptly returned. Working with Carol is how business relationships should be. Carol has a wonderful property in which her pride in ownership is clear. She takes good care of it and strives to make your visit resonate with her pride in the keys. Enjoy. Helpful votes: 2/0 We stayed her for 10 nights in April 2011. The apartment was well equipped - in fact it had everything imaginable. The beds were were huge and so comfortable. The rooms were very spacious and easily to get around with my son in his wheelchair. Carol is so accommodating and will do anything she can to help. We would definitely stay here again when we go back to the Keys for my son to have dolphin therapy. The apartment is withing walking distance of Island Dolphin Care. Recommended for: People with Disabilities, Families with Young Children, Families with Teenagers.

Helpful votes: 1/0 My husband and I stayed here with our three boys ages 7, 12, & 15. We had a blast!! Carol was very helpful with a list of places to visit & see. My favorite was Calypsos Restaurant. We dove with Conch Republic in Islamorada. The condo was perfect! It was very clean, well maintained, & spacious. My favorite was having a full size washer & dryer. We came home with clean clothes. Normally I dread coming home because of the mountain of laundry. None after this vacation! We played in the pool, snorkeled in the cove, & played tennis every evening. The condo is very close to everything-- grocery, restaurants, diving, & Kmart. Carol was very helpful in leaving a list of places to visit. I recommend this rental for anyone! Carol has gone above & beyond for her clients! The listing was very accurate. We will be back! Thank you Carol for sharing your well equipped home & keeping it reasonably priced! In general, I find it unusual to receive prompt and factual information from individuals and/or associations whose main goal is simply to rent their properties. In this case, Carol was very forthcoming with the information to make my decision an easy one. The property description, including the posted photos, was "right on" in every respect. From the location of the keys for access to the condo, to the general appearance and cleanliness of the unit everything was "as advertised". We enjoyed our stay very much and HIGHLY recommend Carol and her unit should your travel plans take you to Key Largo. You can expect everything as advertised, and a most enjoyable stay in a very peaceful environment, with never ending adventures of your choosing. I have never had a more enjoyable and serene vacation than we had during this week in late September and early October.......thanks Carol!!
