Close to Black Mountain Recreation Area for snowmobiling and ATV riding. A great place to use as a base while enjoying the beauty and diversion of Northern Michigan.

Enjoyed being with all the family, relaxing together, enjoying the view and private beach together with the comforts of home and a place for everyone to stay and sleep/eat. It felt like everything was cleaned well which made us feel comfortable, cozy and enjoy.
The Hideaway is a very pleasant, clean, 'homey' place to stay equipped with absolutely everything you would need. The open floor plan allows for great lake views. The beach and lake are hard-packed sand - great for an umbrella table, chairs and a cooler! We walked out into the lake a long ways in clear, shallow, clean water. We discovered a couple fine restaurants - Mulligan's and the Great Lakes Grill at Cheboygan and the Chateau North abut ten miles south of the Hideaway I would recommend this as a perfect vacation spot for families Thanks Jack - it was great!
This was a great place for our family to enjoy each other, play games, sit and relax with plenty of privacy. Plenty of room for everyone. Great views of Lake Huron watching the ships and boats pass. Close to everything thing we wanted to see and do. The Sunroom and living room had wonderful window views of the lake. We had 8 adults and 1 child never felt cramped room for everyone. The Christmans.
