As six year returning visitors to Sanibel, we’ve rented other properties and seen inside many others rented by friends and in open houses. Here is what makes this unit exceptional for us: • Incredible beach access and views. The unit must have been built prior to longer set-back requirements. You are extremely close to the water in this unit and being on the second floor is an advantage at this location because we truly felt we were sitting on the beach even in those January days of cool weather and rain that occurred in Jan 2016. • Responsive and fair owner (Susie) who takes care of the property and attends to the needs and wants of renters. • Open floor plan, connecting the kitchen, dining and living rooms. • Clean, clean, clean – furniture is not worn, frayed or stained with sun tan oils, clean inside the drawers. • Good lighting, via all the windows, but also lamps and light fixtures. • Good TV viewing area, six + people could watch the Super Bowl and have good sight lines. Free Netflix, Smart TVs. • Pleasant, fresh decorating style that adds to the relaxation. • Well-equipped kitchen. We enjoy the opportunity to prepare our meals with extra-good, fresh, local ingredients. • Full-size washer and dryer in separate laundry room that also has lots of storage. • Comfortable beds, nice sheets and towels, extra towels. • Huge bonus – vanity and second sink in the large, walk-in closet. This makes the master bathroom very, very nice. • Screened deck area, with large sliding glass door that opens the living room up to a large outside living area. Ceiling fans add to comfort level when doors are open. Susie has thoughtfully provided two good fans, one a large floor fan and one very good smaller fan for tabletop. • Susie is even so thoughtful as to provide extra light bulbs and batteries so renters can attend to those small matters without purchasing them. This shows her attention to detail!
