About Wendy/Andrew
Andrew and I are Canucks from Canada's subarctic wilderness. We came down in 2005 to volunteer in a clinic for a month and have some holidays and fell in love with the island people, and the laid back lifestyle. We moved down lock stock and barrel in April of 2008 after the youngest kidlet was out on her own. Wendy is an advanced practice Nurse and still works 8 week rotations in a Nursing stati ... more +
Why This Property?
To tell you the truth, when we first moved down, we rented property in the very busy tourist town of West End....we lasted 3 weeks and realized we needed to find a place that was much more Tranquilo! The East End provides the quiet laid back atmosphere we were looking for, combined with many dive shops, restaurants, bars, and beaches.....lots to do, and the busy tourist end is only a 45 min driv ... more +
Unique Benefits
The stunning view made us buy hillside! Every single day for 9 years I have my coffee in the morning and still say, WOW!! The pool is very pretty, and relaxing. We are hidden back off the road, so safety is not a concern.

paradise
Date of Stay: April 24th , 2024

Dee and I have stayed with Wendy Andrew and Lynn numerous times. the atmosphere is great, the people are great. that is one of the reasons we keep coming back. they are truly family in my book. they ensure that the weather is beautiful for us whenever we came down. the diving on the island is the greatest. Marble hill farm is close and very accommodating for divers. my only problem is that it is sooooo hard to leave such a beautiful place and beautiful people and it happens every time I go there. it just makes me look forward to coming back. I will be there in april.

Amazing Visit
Date of Stay: August 22nd , 2015

Pam P. Amazing visit My husband and I recently stayed for 2 weeks at One Fish Two Fish. We had a fantastic time and wished we could have stayed longer. Llyn was a great hostess, and was assisted by Jordy, Riley, the cat and the chickens. We rented a car, but not 4WD. It was manageable, and got us everywhere we needed to go (in 1st gear, slowly). Next visit we will definitely go 4WD to get us further down the dirt roads, exploring the island. I think the the renal car company suspected our "off road" needs, and gave us a car that was all ready beat up, to include a cracked windshield. We did not add to the all ready damaged state, so it was a win-win! We were very comfortable with the fans at night, and never missed AC for a minute. We took a daily dip in the pool to cool off from our travels and to watch the sunset. We did buy some basic food and did have breakfast in the casita, as we were up with the chickens, literally. It was great to get up with the sunrise and go to bed not too much after the sunset. We only did one night out after dark, but had no trouble finding our way "home". We enjoyed exploring the East End, Camp Bay Beach, La Sirena, Oakridge, BJ's, Jonesville, Puky McNabs BBQ on Sunday, Temporary Cal's Cantina, to name a few. We spent a little time in the West End, Blue Harbor Arboretum, Blue Bahia, The Beach Grill, and diving w/ Octopus dive school at the Blue Bahia. There are so many more places to explore, but that will have to wait for the next trip. Thanks to Llyn, our more than gracious hostess! Stayed: August 2015Submitted: August 23, 2015
