This gated community boasts a private beach with a fully landscaped flowering trail to the secluded beach below as well as a lush fern rainforest trail that welcomes visitors to the notable Oregon Coast Trail. This trail begins at the mouth of the Columbia River and extends to the California/Oregon border.
Approximately 1100 SF the 2BR/ 2BA unit is in the quiet 'B' building and features vaulted ceilings, bright hallway skylight and full size washer and dryer. The large master bedroom highlights a new comfortable king size bed with luxurious linens a 24 inch flat screen t.v., walk in closet, ensuite bath, and an eclectic mix of new and antique furniture The second bedroom has a new wonderful queen size bed that continues the same design aesthetic. Crisp, fresh white bed and bath linens are included in your stay. The vaulted living room is uncluttered and homey with a 40 inch flat screen t.v. with satellite cable connection or a watch a movie on the DVD player provided. We also provide free wifi for your convenience. From the large picture window, dinning room sliding doors or the glass railed deck, enjoy views of the ever changing tides below or the magical hills to the east or California coastal range to the distant south. The dining room seats four for dinner or for playing games from our supply of favorites. The kitchen contains everything one needs to prepare meals including pots, pans, microwave, coffee maker, mixer, and dishwasher or, if you prefer, you can always grill out on the deck. Bright, airy and modern renovations including paint and new carpet.
The location, views, access to outdoor recreation and overall 'feeling' of our community is unmatched on the West Coast. You will probably choose not to leave the resort, but if you do here are some of the things you can enjoy during your stay. The private trail, to the ocean and beach below, is only used by owners and resort guests. Property is directly adjacent to the Samuel H Boardman State Park and the Oregon Coastal Trail traverses the property. World-class hiking directly from our community including the flowered private trail and the Oregon Coastal Trail that meanders through the fern / coastal forest.
Our unit is designed to provide the right balance of comfortable (yet luxurious) living while the location provides access to world-class outdoor activity.
Fish directly from the private beach, surf perch to the whitewater south and Rock Fish to the West / Southwest. Lone Ranch beach is 1/2 mile north and provides an excellent opportunity to Kayak (rentals available in Brookings). Unparalleled freshwater fishing on the Winchuk - 8 mi, Chetco - 4 mi and Smith River 25 mi is at your doorstep while saltwater fishing charters can be booked at Brookings Harbor - 4 mi.
If you decide to venture out, visit the wild beaches at Pistol River - 17 mi North. Several professional windsurfing events are held here and the drift wood piles make it especially interesting. Pistol River also provides solid entry points for kayaking down this calm river. 7 miles north is Gold Beach and the Rogue River, catch a jet boat from Jerry's Rogue Jets (at the harbor) for a truly memorable experience. Brookings is a a quaint community with several good restaurants and shops for anything that you would need.
Other points of interest include Redwood National Park - 40 mi, Jedediah Smith St Park - 25 miles, Oregon Caves National Monument - 87 miles, Mt Ashland Snow Skiiing - 137 miles and Crater Lake National Park - 198 miles.
Absolutely no doubts that our unit, and location on the Wild Rivers coast, will make for the best vacation that you and your family could have - truly memorable.

8. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are
included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring
beach towels.
9. Fireplace / Wood Stove: The fireplace is for owner use only – due to liability and potential for
smoke damage. If needed, unit is equipped with electric heater.
10. Water and Septic: The condominium is on a well and septic systems. The septic system is
very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH
anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime.
11. Storms: No refunds will be given for storms, cancellation intervals – as illustrated above –
will apply.
12. Check out: Upon check out, unit should be generally cleaned to include taking the trash to
dumpster, items removed from refrigerator, dishes loaded in dishwasher. Deck chairs / grill

My husband and I had a wonderful 3-night stay here and only wish we could have stayed longer! The view was even better than expected, the private beach was amazing, and the property itself was very comfortable, well-furnished, and had everything we could possibly need.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this oceanfront condo over the past few days. What an incredible view! The bed and furniture were super comfy and the kitchen, baths, and laundry area well-appointed and everything spotless. We had a few days with great weather, which made beach combing at the nearby private beach and other beaches in the area fun and relaxing. We also spent hours on the balcony and living room just hanging out enjoying the peace and quiet of the area. We are definitely refreshed after spending our time in Brookings and look forward to a future return. Thanks for sharing :)Recommended for: Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway.
We were completely pleased with this choice. Owners helpful and friendly. I refer to review by Denise in agreement and Jennifer also. Only shortcoming was our 3 day stay not longer.
The Oregon coast has a magical beauty that must be experienced to be believed. This wonderful condo puts you in an ideal place to start your adventure. Clean and well appointed your stay will be comfortable. Yet all that will become secondary the moment you view the majestic coast through the enormous picture window and sliding door. I guarantee the awe you will feel will heal the most tortured soul. It is breathtaking! If you can peel yourself away from the windows, head on down to the beach. We spent hours walking and exploring the tide pools and sea cave. it is not to be missed. Once your spirit is fed, feed your body with a great pizza at Zola's or some yummy Thai at Kun Thai, after that, a flight of IPA's at the Chetco brewery will warm you up. As others have mentioned, our three days went by far too quickly, and I hope they will let us return someday, for this truly is a magical place. Recommended for: Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway.
My husband and I arrived at the condo around 4:30 in the afternoon. Our first impression was "wow, this place is clean". As we walked down the hall our breath was taken away by the beautiful view of the ocean from the living room, kitchen and dining room. We were very comfortable using the condo as if it were our own home. We walked down to the beach and we were able to walk through the tunnel and explore. We saw the Redwoods at the Jedidiah Park, took a drive to Crater Lake with a bonus of catching a view of Mt Shasta too. It was a nice home base for us to come back to and enjoy the wine we bought along the 101 at McNab Ridge Tasting Room in Hopeland. We don't have good fish and chips at home, so we took advantage of the Hungry Crab down at the harbor, twice in three days;) We would love to come back, you truly can't find a better place to stay if you're visiting the area. Our experience was more than five star, but you only have that to choose from. Thank you Dana for being so prompt with responding and making the process, from booking to checking in and out, so easy.
