LeConte View Lodge faces the Smoky Mountains with an unbelievable view of Mt LeConte. This huge custom built, cabin of "large-log" constructions will provide you with a wonderful sanctuary to relax and enjoy time in the cabin after a day's adventures Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
The cabin has been furnished with both comfort and luxury in mind, all 3 levels provide plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Two levels have decks facing the magnificent view. You enter this incredible large log cabin on the main level. Park up to 8 cars in the flat parking area, then it's just 1 step up to the front door. The entry will take your breath away with the spectacular logs, furnishings, and the view!!
The Main level features a fabulous 'Honeymoon Suite'! This huge master suite features 23 ft ceilings, plush king size bed, gorgeous mountain view, sitting area with 2 comfy chairs that convert to twin sleepers, flat screen TV, private entry to the main level deck, and a fabulous large-log bathroom! The master bathroom is one-of-a-kind with 2 story ceiling over the 2-personjetted (whirlpool) bathtub and dual vanity area. The spacious master bathroom also features a custom-tiled shower, water closet, and walk-in clothes closet.
There is plenty of seating in the living room around the fireplace with big screen TV. And, a second seating area called the 'media cave' which has a built in bar to provide plenty of safe space for all your electronic devices and lots of plug ins and a TV for game playing so bring your WII or X Box.
The Dining room faces the magnificent view and will seat 18. There's a Deck located nearby with a grill and outdoor seating areas. The large kitchen has seating for 12 more guests! That's seating for 30 guests at mealtime! The kitchen also features double oven and butcher block table for extra work room. In addition to the refrigerator in the kitchen, there's a 2nd frig located downstairs off the game room.
The Lower level has a home theater with 70' flat screen, a Game room with pool table and three sleeper sofas, plus a Large deck with hot tub which provides view of the mountains and total privacy. There's Deck seating here too. Inside on the lower level, a large wet bar area/mini-kitchen with the 2nd full size frig provides more cold food and beverage storage. There's also a pub height table located in this mini-kitchen area that's right off the game room, it's another nice place for card playing.
The well designed lower level features 4 bedrooms (bdrms 2, 3, 4, 5) and 4 full bathrooms.
On the upper level you will find 2 bedrooms (bdrms 6 and 7) which share a hall bath. Across the 'cat walk' you'll find a comfy loft that's a sitting area with game / card table, a wall mounted flat screen TV, and a sofa sleeper and loveseat.
Parking out front is flat and will easily accommodate 6 vehicles, possibly 8 vehicles depending on size. The mountain road to the cabin is paved and two lane right up to the cabin which is located in a cul de sac with only one other cabin.
LeConte View has a plentiful 6,000 square feet of Smoky Mountain spaciousness and comfort!
The sleeping arrangements are as follows:
~ Cabin sleeps 16 guests in beds (5 King beds, 1 Queen bed, plus 1 bunk bed with a Twin over Queen) and 1 Twin log log bed.;
~ Cabin sleeps 8 guests with 4 Queen size sofa sleepers;
Main Level:
~ Master Suite with 1 KING-size bed, full bathroom
~ There is 1 Queen-size sleeper sofas in Living room, and 1/2 hall bath
~ 4 guests can sleep on the Main Level
Upper Level:
~ 1 bdrm with a King bed and 1 bdrm with a Queen bed
~ 1 Queen-size sleeper sofa in Loft,
~ One full bathroom (tub-shower combination) on the Upper Level;
~ 6 guests can sleep on the Upper Level
Lower Level:
~ 1 King Suite with a private bathroom (tub-shower combination), and private access to lower level deck.
~ 2 bedrooms share a hall bathroom (tub-shower combination), 1 bdrm has a King bed and the other bedroom has 1 bunk bed with Twin over Queen and a Twin size log bed,
~ 1 King bedroom which has easy access to a bathroom in the hall (with tub-shower combination).
~ There's another bathroom with a shower only (no tub) on the lower level.
~ And, there are 2 Queen-size sleeper sofas in the game room
~ 16 guests can sleep on the lower level.
Just seven miles from this cabin is the beautiful Gatlinburg Community Center - a complex with indoor swimming pool, basketball court, ping pong, bowling alley, weight room and showers. For a very reasonable fee visitors are welcome to take advantage of this beautiful complex.
Just 5 miles from the cabin is Mills Park with a playground for the children, and covered picnic tables and grills for your get-togethers.
Just 4 miles from the cabin is the Greenbriar section of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This lesser known entrance has many beautiful trails, plenty of parking, picnic area, playground and access to the Pigeon River throughout. Ramsey Cascades is a favorite amongst hikers.
LeConte View Lodge is located on a Mountain road. We strongly recommend trip insurance, especially during the Winter since there are no refunds for snow and ice.

It was so nice to stay in such a beautiful, spacious lodge and there was plenty to do to keep us entertained. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table, the air hockey and the video games. I thought we would use the theater more than we did, but everyone spent the days hiking and exploring, so there wasn't much chance by the time we had dinner. The cabin was very clean, with plenty of dishes and glassware for a crowd. All 19 of us saw at least one bear, either at Cades Cove or on the hike to Laurel Falls! We loved staying here and would highly recommend it to others.
We had 7 couples and it was a great size for our group. The view was beautiful. Loved the deck and all the rockers. It was fun having a table long enough for all of us to sit together for meals. Will definitely consider this cabin for another visit.
The minute we walked in this beautiful home, everyone was stunned by the magnificent view of Mont LeConte right in front of our eyes through the gigantic floor-to-ceiling windows that occupies entirely one side of the house. Exploring this 6000 sq feet, 2.5-story, 7-bedroom house, we felt like we lived in a fairy tale. We especially appreciated the architectural design -- a true wonder! The rooms are nice and clean. The living and dining area are spacious and in style! The kitchen is fully equipped and functional. There's a cute and cozy computer area where the kids plugged in and played games on their laptops. My 14-year old son loved his king-room on one side of the loft. The other end of the loft is a cozy TV/card area. These two areas are connected through a bridge. How unique! There's one additional refrigerator and coffee machine in the entertainment area downstairs, very convenient for those who play pool table and watch movies. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the Jacuzzi on the first-floor deck, chatting and sipping cold beer while watching the snow-covered mountain (It snowed the day before, yay!!!) The owner and property manager responded quickly to our request for fixing a couple of minor issues in the house, all handled in a timely and professionally manner. We had a great time staying in this beautiful property. If you ever decide to visit the Smokey, be sure to consider this comfortable and magnificent property!
