My wife and I along with our dog so thoroughly enjoyed our five week stay at Rocky Hill Farm that I find it difficult to describe adequately just how wonderful this experience was. For starters, our hosts, Pam and Nicol, were extremely attentive to our particular interests, which included fresh garden produce and eggs, and acres of land to walk with our dog. Nicol placed eggs and veggies from the farm at our doorstep every day - much appreciated indeed. Our hosts were never too busy to stop working and chat with us. The serenity of the location suited our desires, but for folks who want the constant commotion and glitz of Old Orchard Beach, this farm might not be the right place, although the shore is only about 15 minutes away. The apartment is lovely, clean and cheerfully bright. The owners descriptions of the property and the reviews are all accurate. If you enjoy the tranquillity and ambience of a well maintained Maine farm in a rural setting, you will not find a better vacation location than Rocky Hill Farm.
We could not have enjoyed our stay at Rocky Hill Farm more. The owners were fantastic hosts, the apartment was comfortable, and the private deck was a nice place to enjoy breakfast and dinner. We loved the quiet surrounding gardens and the children can't wait to return. We highly recommend a here.
We spent a month with Pam & Nicol at their farm and were very pleased with our stay. We loved our hosts who were simply delightful! The unit consists of basically 3 rooms, an eat-in kitchen with a small breakfast bar, a living area with with a small TV/DVD player and a bedroom with a queen bed and a wardrobe. The deck outside the living area was a very pleasant spot to enjoy morning coffee and an afternoon glass of wine. The owner's photos are very descriptive so there were no disappointments with the property. Fresh eggs and vegetable deliveries by our hosts were a real bonus. As avid birders, we chose this location for a central location for several areas we wanted to bird. We made many birding and touring day trips to coastal areas from Ogunquit to Falmouth. We would certainly stay here again if we vacation in Maine in the future.
we cannot recommend this darling apartment highly enough! Our hosts were always helpful, never intrusive. They were full of stories and recommendations. The apartment was lovingly appointed with everything we needed.it was centrally located for day trips and we were always happy to come home 2 the farm.
