Many people believe the Hanalei Bay Resort has the best views on the island of Kauai. Fortunately, this is where our condo is located.

Our condo has been remodeled using lovely bamboo cabinetry and green granite. Our hope was to make it as inviting as the rainforest and mountains off of our lanais.

We are retired, and love to come to Kauai whenever the opportunity arises. It's our pleasure to try and provide our guests with a clean, charming and comfortable place to stay while visiting Kauai. We welcome the opportunity to play a role in your vacation by answering whatever questions you might have, and providing help in anyway we can.
Why This Property?
We honeymooned on Kauai at the Hanalei Bay Resort. It was a very special time for us. We found the beauty of the North Shore (Princeville and Hanalei areas) to be unforgettable. The island continued to draw us back, which lead us to purchasing the condo.
Unique Benefits
Our resort has the only swim-up bar on the island - the Ukulele Bar. It's very popular with the guests, and offers live music in the afternoon.

Wonderful Resort!

We just got back from our wonderful stay at Hanalei Bay Resort! This unit is amazing and met all of our needs. Everything you would need is provided. I heard that this unit is one of the nicer ones and we were not surprised. Judy made everything so easy and answered all of our questions. We were pleasantly surprised with a card and a gift from Judy, waiting for us on the table, as it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary! The pool and hot tub, swim up bar, restaurant, were wonderful perks as well. You are a quick drive or walk to Princeville where we enjoyed the little grocery store, deli, icecream and eateries. We booked our excursions through the resort or you can book them in Princeville. I highly reccomend this unit and this resort if you are wanting to enjoy the beautiful north side of Kauai. We cant wait to come back! Thank-you again Judy!

Fantastic Family Resort

This condo was absolutely perfect for our first visit to Kauai. We did quite a bit of exploring and I can say that Hanalei Bay Resort is the perfect location. First of all you are on the beautiful North Shore and truly - nothing compares. You can walk to golf at the stunning Makai Troon course. The St. Regis is a 5 minute or less drive if you want to enjoy a nicer dinner at Kauai Grill or enjoy their cocktail hour for sunset and music. You are 10 minutes from the adorable town of Hanalei which we frequented serveral days to check out some of the further most beaches and cruise the town and shops. And you aren't so far on the North West side of the North Shore that getting to the East side or South side is difficult - it's an easy straight shot down the coast line. As for the Resort, it is beautiful and well maintained. The beach that is shared with the St. Regis is a bit of a haul (like many Kauai beaches), but it is great for toddlers or young kids. The waters were very calm. The pool I believe is one of the few on the island - maybe only - with a swim up bar which was a big hit for my husband. It's always a good way to meet other guests staying on the island - everyone is friendly and chatty at the swimup bar. :-) Happy Talk lounge is also great for evenings that you are too tired from your days adventures to cook or get ready to go out somewhere. The food is actually much better than your typical "bar food". The unit itself was clean, well equipped and suited our needs perfectly. The bathrooms are very private which is really nice if you had two couple staying together. You would just have to decide who gets the master and who gets the upstairs loft. The upstairs loft is very private - you can't really see into it from below, but it is a half wall with no door - just so you are aware. The location of the unit on the property is probably one of the best - I say that having never stayed in another unit, but we LOVED the location. It was close to the parking lot (but not too close), it was close to the pool and the front desk making everything easily accessible. BUT the best part of the unit is the mountain view. If you think you want ocean front, just trust me - the view from this unit is breathtaking. You can get a beach view on any island or beach town you go to. The lush Kauai mountain view with waterfalls, beautiful birds and an amazing canopy you definitely cannot get many other places in the world! Just do it!

Best Vacation Ever!!!!

We were very impressed with our stay! Everything went smooth. The staff at the resort were welcoming and friendly. Thank you Judy for arranging an early check in for us! The condo was beautiful! Amazing views! It was equipped with everything we needed, the washer and dryer were very helpful! Both beds were very comfortable as I stayed a couple nights with my son in the loft:) I really liked the top floor unit with vaulted ceilings yet we didn't have to go up any stairs to get to the unit, soooo nice! We enjoyed the pool, great for young kids. My youngest could spend all day at the sandy bottom portion of the pool! The beach was great for swimming as well. We also ventured out most days enjoying queen's bath, the farmers market, Ka'a beach, napali coast trail, secret beach, and our favorite, Anini beach. The condo is very centrally located for doing many activities on the beautiful north shore. My brother got married at the resort, most beautiful wedding ever! Thank you Judy for everything! Nellie

Our Favorite Property

We stayed at condos on three islands and this was our favorite! The condo is clean and well maintained as well as the condo complex at Hanalei Bay. The pool is stunning and it is a short golf cart ride down to the beach. Judy provides you a list of what to do and which restaurants she recommends on each part of the island. The North shore of the island is much less crowded and much more lush and green. It was great to be away from the majority of the crowds! We would book here again in a heartbeat! Easy communication and everything was as promised.
