The Apartment above the garage with a separate entrance (different entry code), is an additional charge ($125 per night, $30 cleaning fee)(Can not be rented to a separate party!) If you want to bring 14 people, or just want more room, this is the answer. If some friends heard about your trip and are planning to rent a room at a nearby motel, this is a more convenient option. The apartment is 450 sqft and is lavishly designed and furnished. The kitchenette has a sink, microdrawer, under counter fridge, toaster, kahrig, dishes, silverware, cutting board and knives. It has 3 windows all with a view. The bathroom is tiled floor to ceiling, and is beautiful and functional. This room has 3 TV's. One smart TV is for watching movies on the included blu-ray and or streaming movies via netflix. The other 2 TV's are exclusive for their included game systems. While the gaming systems in the main house are newer, the ones in the apartment are old school, a NES and N64. Controllers and lots of game cartridges are included. There are 3 beds. Two beds are extra large twins, the other bed is an extra large full. All the beds have private lights with their own switch, and private outlets with built in USB power plugins. No detail has been overlooked. If you don't get one of the master suites, fight for dibs on this room.
This home was designed with your vacation in mind. When you arrive, pull in under the covered and lit unloading area. No fighting the wind and rain. No fumbling with keys, push in the provided 4 digit code at the door and enter.
The entryway is large and open, a perfect spot to place your luggage while unloading. All the light switches are labeled, no guessing at what turns on what. The entire house has built in LED night lights so you can find your way around at night without fumbling for the light.
Both bedrooms downstairs have custom made log queen bunk beds. Both have a 40' smart TV wired into the modem for fast streaming of Netflix or any other desired apps. The downstairs bathroom has a double sink vanity, heated floors, large multi head shower with body sprays, and a separate room for the toilet.
Upstairs are 2 identical master suites. Both have ocean views. They feature high beam ceilings with skylights in the bedroom and master bathroom. Both have 60' smart TV's wired to the modem for faster streaming (all bedrooms have blu-ray players and dvd movies). Both masters have beautiful log queen beds with brand new mattress' and linens.
The master bathrooms have a 4x8 walk in shower with multiple shower heads and body sprays, tiled walls and pebble stone floors (the west master shower has an ocean view). The vanity has 2 vessel sinks and a quartz countertop. There is a separate room for the toilet. The floors are heated and the bathrooms are spacious.
Both master bedrooms have sliding patio doors leading to a large deck with a jetted tub (aquatic driftbath 72"x42") outside each door. Relax in a soft current of warm water as you enjoy the ocean view. Large enough for a couple to share.
The great room downstairs has an open airy feeling with windows, from the floor, up 24' to the ceiling. There is a large river rock gas fireplace in the center of the room. On the east wall, there is a 70' smart TV with blu-ray, Xbox 360 and 600 dvd's. The couches are new and overstuffed and the furniture is handmade and beautiful.
The dining table is large and seats 8. Next to the table is 4 barstools at the island countertop. The kitchen is beautiful. Maple cabinets with quartz countertops, new stainless steel appliances, great open layout with lots of countertop space. The kitchen is over equipped with almost anything you could want or need to cook, bake, and entertain.
The game room is an extra large double garage with a 10' high tongue and groove knotty pine ceiling. The garage door is frosted glass and makes for a light airy atmosphere. The room has AC, a water cooler/instant hot water/kahrig a tournament sized pool table, ping pong table, and tournament foosball table.
The front yard has a trail to the beach with a beautiful 4 min walk through the dunes. There is a professional volleyball ball court on the sand in the side yard. The house has a covered and lit wrap around patio with a Weber gas grill in the front, right outside the kitchen.
If you like getting sandy at the beach you will love the outdoor shower. It is private and has a separate spout just for feet. There is a heated hose bib as well.
On the other side of the shower is a large double stainless steel sink and countertop for cleaning fish and clams. Both the shower and sinks are covered and lit.
There is a wrap around driveway with lots of extra space for parking. There is even a spot for Rv's with a plugin.
There is a wall full of board games, puzzles and activities. Toys are also available. Under the bar is a cabinet full of office and craft supplies.
